Abstract

The advent of cloud computing has revolutionized the way applications are developed, deployed, and scaled. Traditional monolithic architectures have given way to microservices and containerization, enabling greater flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. However, even with these advancements, managing infrastructure and scaling resources can be a complex and time-consuming task. This is where serverless computing comes into play, offering a new paradigm that promises to simplify application development and deployment while reducing operational overhead. Serverless computing, also known as Function-as-a-Service (FaaS), is a cloud computing execution model where the cloud provider dynamically manages the allocation and provisioning of servers. Developers can focus solely on writing and deploying code, without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. This approach has gained significant traction due to its potential to reduce costs, improve
scalability, and accelerate time-to-market.
