Abstract

The dentigerous cyst is considered as a benign lesion. However, as growing, it can damage the anatomical structures surrounding it and influence the developing neighboring dentition which was the observed in our case where the radicular formation of the neighboring permanent tooth was arrested. This was the consequence of the delayed diagnosis of the cystical lesion which had silently taken a huge size before getting discovered through a routine radiographic examination.
