This research concentrates on implementing Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) using a simplified sensor arrangement, relying solely on a single accelerometer for data collection. Through the application of simulation methodologies, the study investigates the determination of eigenfrequencies, pivotal parameters that characterize the inherent oscillation frequencies of the bridge. This innovative approach provides valuable insights into how the bridge reacts to dynamic forces, presenting a more cost-effective and efficient strategy for structural health monitoring. The paper acknowledges the challenges and constraints associated with utilizing a solitary sensor, while also highlighting the potential of OMA in scenarios where resource limitations or practical considerations restrict the use of multiple sensors. The findings contribute to advancing the field of structural dynamics and modal analysis, offering a nuanced understanding of the dynamic behavior of suspension bridges under real-world conditions.
