Abstract

Sudden changes in balance are often debilitating for manypatients in the general population but even more for sufferers in a safety-critical role, such as machinery operators, drivers, aviation industry workers, air traffic controllers, pilots, or others. 98 % of the presentation of vertigo in general practice is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Acute Vestibular Neuritis and Meniere’s disease (MD) [1-3].
