Abstract

Article describes experimental studies of the effect of superabsorbent polymer (SAP) on the strength of concrete. The aim of the study was to substantiate the effectiveness of usage of this type of SAP additive in concrete structures. The optimal dosage of SAP was revealed. The results showed that concrete strength remains same if a dosage of the SAP additive is equal to 0.5% of the cement mass.
