Peer Review Policy
SRC Publishers follows a rigorous peer review process to ensure that only high-quality and scientifically sound research is published. Peer review is an essential part of scholarly publishing and helps maintain the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of academic work.
1. Initial Manuscript Evaluation
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editor. In rare cases, an exceptional manuscript may be accepted at this stage.
Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage if they:
- Lack originality
- Contain significant scientific or technical flaws
- Have poor language quality
- Do not fall within the aims and scope of the journal
Manuscripts meeting the minimum criteria are typically sent to at least two independent experts for further review.
2. Type of Peer Review
SRC Publishers uses a double-blind peer review system, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
3. Selection of Reviewers
Reviewers are selected based on their subject expertise and experience. SRC Publishers maintains and continuously updates a reviewer database to ensure appropriate matching of manuscripts with qualified referees.
4. Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Originality and novelty of the work
- Methodological soundness
- Compliance with ethical standards
- Clarity of results and support for conclusions
- Proper citation of relevant prior work
Language editing is not a primary responsibility of reviewers; however, reviewers may suggest improvements if necessary.
5. Review Timeline
The duration of the peer review process depends on reviewer availability and response time.
If reviewer reports conflict or are delayed, additional expert opinions may be sought. Authors will receive the Editor’s decision along with reviewer comments, which may include verbatim feedback.
6. Revision Process
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation.
7. Final Decision
A final decision regarding acceptance or rejection will be communicated to the author, along with reviewer feedback and recommendations.
8. Editor’s Decision
Reviewers provide recommendations; however, the Editor of SRC Publishers is solely responsible for the final decision regarding publication. The Editor’s decision is final.
