Conflict of Interest Policy
The Conflict of Interest Policy of SRC Publishers is based on best practices in scholarly publishing and ethical guidelines for peer-reviewed journals. SRC Publishers is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and trust in the publication process.
1. Declaration of Conflicts of Interest
All authors submitting manuscripts to SRC Publishers are required to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence the results, interpretation, or presentation of their work.
2. Sources of Support
Authors must clearly declare all sources of financial or non-financial support for their research, including sponsor names.
Authors must also explain the role of funding sources, if any, in:
- Study design
- Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Manuscript preparation
- Decision to submit the manuscript for publication
If the funding source had no involvement in these activities, authors must explicitly state that the sponsor had no role in the research or publication process.
3. Access to Study Data
Authors are required to disclose whether they had full access to the study data and describe the nature and extent of such access, including whether access is ongoing.
4. Editorial Requirements
Editors at SRC Publishers may request additional declarations or supporting documents to verify conflict of interest disclosures, especially for studies funded by organizations with financial or proprietary interests in the outcomes.
In such cases, authors may be required to sign a statement such as:
“I had full access to all of the data in this study and I take complete responsibility for the integrity of the data and the accuracy of the data analysis.”
5. Transparency and Publication
SRC Publishers may publish conflict of interest disclosures and funding statements alongside the article to ensure transparency and uphold ethical publishing standards.
