Editorial & Peer Review Process

SRC Publishers follows a structured and transparent editorial and peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work. All authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to internationally accepted ethical guidelines for scholarly publishing.

SRC Publishers follows the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals.

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, all manuscripts are evaluated by the Editor for:

  • Manuscript structure and formatting
  • Plagiarism and originality
  • Scientific quality and relevance

Based on this evaluation, the manuscript may be:

  • Rejected
  • Returned to the author for structural or technical revision
  • Sent to at least two independent reviewers for peer review

2. Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to peer review by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field.

During the review process:

  • Authors do not have access to reviewer identities
  • The Editor may choose whether to disclose author information to reviewers

3. Editorial Decision After Review

After the peer review process, manuscripts may be:

  • Accepted for publication
  • Returned to authors for revision based on reviewer comments
  • Rejected

4. Revision Process

Revised manuscripts submitted by authors may undergo one of the following:

  • Acceptance after revision
  • Resubmission to reviewers for further evaluation
  • Returned to authors for additional revisions or corrections
  • Rejection if concerns are not adequately addressed

5. Acceptance and Publishing

Once accepted, manuscripts are forwarded to the publishing process, which includes:

  • Copy editing
  • Typesetting and composition
  • Grammar and language editing
  • Proofreading

6. Final Editorial Checks

Editors may request additional materials, clarifications, or corrections from authors during the production stages to ensure accuracy and quality of the final publication.

7. Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for responding promptly to editorial and reviewer comments and for ensuring that all requested revisions are completed accurately.
