Panksepp’s Emotions Theory

Abstract

Scientific research has shown, for several years now, that well-regulated affective experiences foster the integration and differentiation of interconnections between neural networks. Therefore, they enable the development of flexibility, stability, and coherence within the global mind-brain-body system in its ongoing processes of adaptation [1,2].
