Abstract

This study deals with the Water depolluting technologies by making use of innovative technologies e.g. Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials by employing Physicochemical and Spectroscopic methods to characterize the in-situ chemical speciation of the inorganic contaminants. The Catalytic Oxidants of first row of transition metal oxides have been used in Water Treatment Processes to entrap toxins, by employing High Affinity Toxin Receptors (HART). The catalytic activity and Chemical Reaction Kinetics of Nanomaterials have been studied to assess water contaminant transformation. Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials were employed to Control Global Warming by converting GHG (Methane) to ethanol by catalytic processes to develop hybrid fuels like bioethanol and biodiesel and go for electricity from biomass. The NISAR-Data along with already developed innovative ‘Magnetic Refrigeration Technology’(VG-MRT) to replace Chlorofluorocarbons would be applied to Control Global Warming and remediation of water pollution
