Abstract

Interceptive orthodontics is an important stage in the evaluation of the growing child. At this stage, the clinician's goal is not only to examine the position of the teeth, but also to identify, as early as possible, the functional factors that may influence the development of the oral cavity, the dental arches, and the overall balance of the orofacial system.
