Abstract

The author presents an analysis of the pandemic caused by the coronavirus “COVID-19” and its consequences from two points of view: based on 20 years of scientific and practical experience in the field of virology (the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in Virology and Biochemistry through the Higher Attestation Commission, for the development of a new generation of purified influenza vaccines). And 30 years of experience in leech therapy and hirudology. His assets include the creation of the first in Russia and the world department of leech therapy, the creation of an original technology for treatment with medical leeches – «System Method of Leeching».
