Abstract

Hypertension, often known as high blood pressure, is a prevalent and serious global health problem. It is a chronic disorder characterized by chronically
high blood pressure levels, which can lead to serious problems such as cardiovascular disease, stroke, and renal failure. The purpose of this review article is to offer a full overview of hypertension, including epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, therapy, and preventative strategies. Furthermore, the study delves into the most recent advances in hypertension research, developing therapy options, and the significance of lifestyle changes in controlling this illness. A solid knowledge of hypertension is essential for healthcare practitioners and researchers in developing effective therapies to control and avoid
its negative effects.
