Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) represent severe neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions that carry heavy burdens of long-term morbidity. Contemporary medicine widely attributes their etiologies to complex genetic, metabolic, neurodevelopmental, or environmental factors. Conventional clinical interventions remain largely symptomatic rather than curative, offering limited avenues for complete reversal, particularly when these distinct pathologies occur concurrently in a single individual. However, alternative metaphysical frameworks, such as the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door taught by Dharma Master Jun Hong Lu, conceptualize these chronic, intractable conditions as spiritual or karmic illnesses rooted in mature karmic debts and spirit attachments. Therefore, this case report evaluates the concurrent recovery of a male patient diagnosed with IESS, MDD, and ASD following the long-term application of the Three Golden Buddhist Practices. This result suggests that addressing underlying karmic obstacles may offer an alternative, complementary framework for the restoration of complex neurological and psychological functioning.
