As a respiratory nurse working at the Bronchoscopy Unit in
Kenya’s National Referral Hospital (K.N.H) & having specialized
training in Interventional Pulmonology at Yashoda Hospital,
India, I have gained extensive experience in the diverse range
of procedures that define this rapidly evolving subspecialty. My
fellowship journey has provided unique insights into the critical
role that nursing professionals play across the entire spectrum
of interventional pulmonology procedures, from diagnostic
bronchoscopy to complex therapeutic interventions.
